Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from High Time Home. Because we specialize in large, high-value items like wine coolers, golf and kegerators, our return process involves a few more steps than a typical online order. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from your delivery date to request a return. If more than 30 days have passed since your order was delivered, we are unable to accept a return or issue a refund.
2. Return Eligibility
To be accepted for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

The item must be unused and uninstalled.

The item must be in its original, unaltered condition with no signs of wear or damage caused by the customer.

All original packaging must be intact, including the box, styrofoam inserts, protective wrapping, manuals, and included accessories.

Freight items must be securely strapped to a pallet for return shipment.
Items returned without original packaging or items that arrive at our warehouse in damaged condition due to improper packing may not be accepted. In those cases, we may adjust or decline the refund based on the condition of the item upon inspection.
3. Restocking Fee
All non-defective returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. This fee covers warehouse handling, product inspection, and the cost of the original outbound free shipping.
Example: If you return a wine cooler purchased for $1,000, the restocking fee would be $250. Your refund would be $750, minus any applicable return shipping costs.
There is no restocking fee on items returned due to a defect or damage caused by shipping.
4. Return Shipping Costs
4.1 Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or develops a defect covered by the manufacturer's warranty, we will cover the full cost of return shipping. We will provide a prepaid return label or arrange a freight pickup at no charge to you.
4.2 Change-of-Mind Returns
If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or no longer need it, return shipping is your responsibility. For large freight items like wine coolers or kegerators, return freight shipping typically costs between $200 and $500, depending on your location and the size of the unit. We recommend getting a freight quote before initiating your return so there are no surprises.
5. How to Start a Return
Do not ship your item back before receiving authorization from our team. Here is the step-by-step process:

Email us at support@hightimehome.com with your order number and the reason for your return.

Our team will review your request and respond within 1 to 2 business days. If your return is approved, we will send you a Return Authorization (RA) number along with the correct return shipping address.

Carefully repack your item in all original packaging. For freight items, strap the unit securely to a pallet before pickup.

Ship the item to the address provided in your RA confirmation. Returns must be sent only to the authorized warehouse address provided by our support team. Returns must only be sent to the address provided in your Return Authorization (RA) confirmation.

Once your return arrives at our warehouse and passes inspection, we will process your refund within 7 to 14 business days.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Once we process the refund on our end, please allow an additional 3 to 5 business days for the credit to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.
Your refund will reflect the item price minus the 25% restocking fee, and minus the return shipping cost if we arranged the return label on your behalf.
7. Cancellations
7.1 Before Shipment
If you need to cancel your order and it has not yet shipped, please contact us as soon as possible at support@hightimehome.com. Orders cancelled before shipment receive a full refund with no fees.
7.2 After Shipment
If your order has already been picked up by the carrier, it is treated as a return, even if you have not yet received a tracking number. In this case, you will be responsible for return shipping costs, and the 25% restocking fee will apply.
8. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

Custom-made or made-to-order items (unless the item arrives defective)

Items marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase

Gift cards

Items that have been installed, used, or altered from their original condition
9. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrived damaged in transit, or if you discover a defect within the coverage period of the manufacturer's warranty, please contact us right away. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
For freight damage, please refer to the inspection instructions in our Shipping Policy. Damage must be reported within 5 days of delivery with photo evidence.
